FAQ

TOM TOMATO is set up and ready to plant just in a few simple steps. Afterwards you just have to fill with soil and put in a tomato plant.

You can find all details in our TOM TOMATO How-to.

TOM TOMATO (incl. climbing support) needs an area of 35 x 28 cm with a height of 135 cm.

Tomatoes need a lot of light and warmth. So the best conditions for a high-yield tomato harvest are sunny, warm and rain protected. A location in front of a wall, which reflects warmth suits optimally.

For your high-yield tomato harvest we recommend tomato soil. You can find pre-mixed tomato soils in trade, which are ideal for planting tomatoes. Vegetbale soil is also a good alternative.

If you like to grow tomato plants out of seeds, you should start in March with our HARRY HERBS (as a propagator) incl. TOM TOMATO seed mix. In our HARRY HERBS how-to we exactly explain how this works. But if you like to plant young tomato plants, you should wait with planting at least to mid May. You should definitely avoid freeze.

First things first: Take care never to pour water over the leaves of tomato plants! Tomato leaves are very water sensitive- wet rapidly leads to rot and other diseases.
After planting you should therefore only water the soil around your plant from above. As soon as the roots reach into the water tank, you only need to fill up the tank regularly. The integrated irrigation wicks provide moist soil around the roots. So the plant gets optimally supplied with nutrients.
