Fill CHARLY CHILI with approx. 10 liters of soil. We suggest to mix the soil with an organic long-term fertilizer (e.g. with our organic sheep‘s wool fertilizer)

Step 2

Plant two chili seedlings next to the aluminum tubes.

Step 3

Water your plants from above during the first two weeks. Also fill the water tank with approx. 4,5 liters of water.

Step 4

As soon as the roots enter the water tank, water your plant via the water tank only. Fill up regularly.

Step 5

Make sure that the shoots of the plants always grow inside the climbing frames.

FAQ

CHARLY CHLI is set up and ready to plant just in a few simple steps. Afterwards you just have to fill with soil and put in two chili or pepper plants.

You can find all details in our CHARLY CHILI How-to.

CHARLY CHILI (incl. climbing support) needs an area of 35 x 28 cm with a height of 69 cm

Chilis and peppers need a lot of light and warmth. So, the best conditions for a high-yield harvest are sunny and warm. A location in front of a wall, which reflects warmth suits optimally.

For your high-yield chili harvest we recommend chili/pepper soil. You can find pre-mixed chili soils in garden centers, which are ideal for planting chilis and peppers. Vegetable soil is also a good alternative if you cannot find chili soil.

If you like to grow chili plants out of seeds, you should start in March with our Mini Greenhouse incl. CHARLY CHILI seed mix. In our Mini Greenhouse How-To we exactly explain how this works. But if you like to plant young chili plants, you should wait with planting at least to mid May. You should definitely avoid freeze!

After planting you should water your chili plants from above. Additionally fill up the tank with 4,5L water. As soon as the roots reach into the water tank, you only need to fill up the tank regularly. The integrated irrigation wicks provide moist soil around the roots. So the plant gets optimally supplied with nutrients.
