This is one of the hottest varieties ever. Before the even hotter "Trinidad Scorpion" variations became known, "Naga Morich" was considered the hottest chili variety in the world with up to (!) 1 million Scoville. This mercilessly hot variety comes from northeast India or Bangladesh and is very similar to the well-known "Bhut Jolokia" in shape, appearance, taste and spiciness. That's why you should definitely have experience in growing and processing this type of chili!
Characteristics
The bright red fruits are characterized by their elongated shape and uneven surface. If the growing conditions are good, this variety can achieve Scoville values of up to one million(!). "Naga Morich" love warmth and need a lot of it for the formation and ripening of the fruits.
