Jalapeno

With its origins in Mexico, this type of chili has now become known worldwide and is not one of the most popular chilies for nothing. Jalapeños are characterized primarily by their aromatic flesh and mild spiciness.

Characteristics

The pods of this variety have a big advantage: they can be eaten both green and red and their aroma changes as they change color. Basically, jalapeños always ripen from green to red - green fruits can therefore be harvested earlier, while fully ripe red fruits have a pleasant sweetness.
Due to their mild spiciness, jalapeños taste great when freshly harvested, as well as as a seasoning when cooking, stuffed, pickled or grilled.

Where do chili plants come from?

The plants are lovingly grown in a German nursery and sent directly to your home in special shipping boxes.
