"Chernij Prinz" originally comes from Russia and translates as "Black Prince". This tomato variety received this noble name because of its dark coloring around the base of the style.
Characteristics
This tomato plant bears flat-round, large, juicy fruits. As already mentioned above, the fruits acquire a beautiful color when ripe - nice red at the bottom and reddish-brown to olive green at the top around the base of the stem. This tomato is not only visually impressive, it is also unique in terms of taste. The aroma can best be explained as a combination of pleasant sweetness and balanced acidity.
The “Chernij Prinz” variety is particularly suitable for grilling when sliced, but the fruits also taste wonderful fresh in a salad.
