The "Marmande" tomato is a very old variety from France. Even in cooler weather, this tomato grows particularly productively.
Characteristics
This tomato plant produces very large, fleshy and juicy fruits. The shape is rather flat and round, with slight ribs at the base of the style. The ruby red fruits have a soft and thin skin and begin to ripen in June. With this variety you get a plant that produces extremely fruity, spicy fruits.
"Marmande" is particularly suitable for grilling when sliced, but the fruits also taste wonderful fresh in a salad.
