Our special tomato variety Pineapple is a real exotic. Why do you think it was named “pineapple”? You guessed it right – its yellow flesh makes it look quite similar to a pineapple when cut open.
Characteristics
The pineapple variety produces very large, fleshy fruits. The shape is rather flat and round, with sometimes more, sometimes less pronounced ribs. It is also impressive in terms of color - with its beautiful orange-yellow to slightly reddish coloring, it is a real eye-catcher. Of course, this variety is not only visually impressive, the aroma is also heavenly. The juicy pulp, which contains little acid, tastes sweet and fruity.
The large, juicy fruits are particularly suitable freshly sliced in a salad, cooked in a sauce or sliced on the grill.
