This delicious potato cream is created in just 35 minutes and impresses with its creamy consistency and the harmonious mixture of potatoes, sour cream, finely chopped red onion, fresh chives and aromatic thyme. Preparation is very easy and the result is a delicate dish that is perfect as a side dish or dip.

  • 500 g potato (floury)
  • 1 red onion
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • Salt pepper
  • a few sprigs of thyme


Cook the potatoes in plenty of salted water. Press through the potato press and mix with the sour cream. Peel the onion and chop it very finely. Wash the chives, shake dry and chop very finely. Stir diced onions and chopped chives into the potato mixture, season with salt and pepper and refine with freshly chopped thyme.
